Triathalon is a Brooklyn-based indie-alternative band consisting of five non-triathlons. With their signature languorous, soulful sound, they’re one of those bands you can kick back in any chill setting - the beach, a night drive, or when you’re trying to relax on a lazy Sunday.
The band is known for their uniquely humorous yet provocative music videos shot in a modern vintage style. We won’t give any spoilers, but you’re likely to find yourself on a roller coaster while watching Triathalon’s climatic, introspective “I Want It” music video.
Released in February 2018, the band’s third studio album Online spans 13 soft, hazy psychedelic tracks. Across their entire catalog, Triathalon has amassed over 18M Spotify streams. And from what we can tell, the band is already preparing to release their fourth studio album after debuting two subsequent singles, “Courtside” and “Distant.”
With a strong electrifying live performance game, you can probably expect to see them on the festival circuit come 2019.
Triathalon is getting ready for a 21-date tour with psychedelic soul band The Marías and making an appearance at Tropicalia Fest 2018 in Long Beach, California. Get your wallets out - there’s no way you’d wanna miss ‘em.
