Sorry I have no recording of threse shows in Morumbi Stadium in São Paulo (1981) and in Rock In Rio Festival (1985).
You can find my recording of Queen at the Portland Exposition Building on April 28, 1974 on YouTube. There have been many postings over the years, but search "Queen - Live in Portland, ME (28th April 1974)" and you can hear it. They were the opening band for Mott The Hoople.
"Hi there! I see you attended Queen's two Rock in Rio shows. I know it's unlikely, but is there a chance you or someone you know taped the shows? If you did I would love to know Thanks!""
Answering to your question: No, I don't have any tape from RiR shows but I have a tape recording from 1985 show at Morumbi Stadium.
Sorry no recordings of the show in Gothenburg wish I had though
I did attend two Queen shows at LA Forum in 1980 and 1982 but I’m afraid I don’t know of any recordings made of them. I’m sorry I couldn’t help.
Sorry, didn't record the Queen concert. Wasn't an easy thing to do back then.
As many people have already said, back in November 1979 the average fan would never have dreamed of trying to record a show. To my knowledge, no recording of the Crazy Tour Birmingham NEC gig exists.
Two early recordings I have managed to track down are both from 1975: Sheffield and Köln. Sound quality about a 7/10 in both cases. Well worth a listen - catching the band trying out Sheer Heart Attack material before/shortly after its release, with plenty of material off the first two albums.
Hello! Unfortunately at that time it was not common for people to enter concerts with a camera. I would have loved it, but those were different times!
No, back in the Rock In Rio days it was not a thing to record it from the crowd... Recording gear was not small, not concealable, not allowed... and I was 11! :D
There are the recordings from the live TV channel (Globo) though... terrible and sufferable, but if you've seen the live performance of Love of My Life A Capela with the crowd, you have likely seen the Rock In Rio one.
Cheers
Sorry Charlie, I've no recordings of the show
sorry no
No, I was just there to enjoy the shows.
I do not think I was ever more blown away by an opening entrance of any band than I was at Queen the first time I saw them. It was like Queen Live Killers. It actually took a minute to realize they were bashing through WWRY. Talk about exciting! Masterful. The entire show was great, a lot like Queen Live Killers.
No, we did not do any taping.
Like most of the other commentors, I don't have any recordings/videos or photos from the Queen show in Seattle in 1980. If you go to YT and search, you'll find a show from that tour in Montreal...that set up, the songs, the costumes, etc (at least my recollection of it) is exactly the same. Good luck.
Hi, no, I don't have any recordings or photos from those concerts. I wish I did. If you want to hear something funny, in 1977, I put my name on a piece of paper and dropped it into a contest box. The contest was sponsored by a chain of 7 record stores in Maine. I was 15 years old. The prize was tickets, airfare, hotel and some spending money to go see any band you wanted in the US. I won it. My favorite band was Queen and that's how I got to that show at Boston Gardens. I wish you luck in finding what you are looking for.
No sorry, not possible back in those days. I do have my ticket stub though.
Sorry no recordings exist of those 2 shows.
Sorry no tape for Montreal show but i was rhere the night they recorded the movie queen rocks Montreal

Just noticing this now. Sorry, I did not record it. I was working as an Associate Editor for CREEM Magazine and did get to attend an after party where Brian May was kind enough to handwrite their set list for me -- under the watchful eye of a very nervous female "handler." Also briefly chatted with John Deacon. Freddie not there; "with his friends" (I smell orgy).
