Re: the Harper gig at the University of Leicester. I do recall 'Short and Sweet' but the rest is a fog. Harper was promoting The Unknown Soldier at the time so Gilmour may have contributed to other tracks from that album. I also remember 'The Flycatcher' for some reason but can't tell you if that was played before Gilmour came on. I think he was on with Harper for about 40 minutes or so. Four years later I saw Harper with Jimmy Page at the Cambridge Festival...

Re: the Roy Harper gig at Leicester Uni in May 1980. It was in the usual concert venue in the Percy Gee building, which is now the O2 Academy I believe. It was particularly memorable because after half an hour or so of the gig, Dave Gilmour appeared on stage!

Dave, new hope on the Athens show! I was moving some stuff when I looked through a scrapbook briefly and saw my stub for the Munich show. I didn’t have time to look, but I suspect the Athens one Athens one could be in there also. I will double check once I unpack it.

Hello You asked about a Pink Floyd show I attended in thhe past. I will see in my archive in the next days if I can do anything for you.
Love
Edi

Hello Doctorbox4, I shared one ticket stub for one of the Pink Floyd's Show in Mexico City back in 1994, I managed to find other one. Let me know in case you are still needing it.

Also, I was wondering about your collecting project, would be interested in hearing from you details about it.

Sounds so cool!

"I’ve just seen your post about seeing Pink Floyd at the Centennial, SK in 1970!.
By any chance did you keep your ticket" Sorry, after 55 years all I have is the faint memory of that concert. On a brighter note, I just saw Pink Floyd at Pompeii movie documentary last night.

I wish! Just fond memories. Sorry

Sorry, no time for proper cleaning now. You can also find a cleaner version here from some other guy for a different date https://shvp.livejournal.com/371699.html

Dear friend, here’s the ticket you asked for, finally

Hi,
Thanks for your comment on Pink Floyd's Sydney show. Unfortunately this is very difficult to verify. The Feb 4 show has attendees and is listed on multiple other sources. It may well be all these sources (and attendees memory) could be wrong, but without definitive proof we can't remove the show.

Sorry, but I haven’t been able to locate my ticket stub for either Pink Floyd concerts I attended. I can only presume the memorabilia are misfiled. I presume you are already aware of the program with lyrics that was distributed for the ‘72 tour? It referred to what later became DSOTM as “Eclipses.” If it happens that I eventually locate a ticket stub for either DC or Hampton, Va I’ll get back with you ASAP.

Sorry no ticket stub from Kennedy center show
wish you luck with your collection.

No to the ticket stubs. I mostly remember falling asleep at that show.

I have most stubs from the 1970s shows I saw, but not the '72 Floyd show. Sometimes they would take the whole ticket instead of tearing it in half, which is the likely reason.

I do have the June 21, 1977 Floyd show stub in KC-the Animals tour. I'll be happy to send a jpeg of that to you.

Hello, sorry, I have managed to save a few of my many past concert tickets but not that one. That show was quite memorable as the material(DSOTM) was previously unheard at the time. We were expecting Ummagumma but got so much more. This was held in an Armory where one would go to watch wrestling matches. It was on the floor and set up as quad surround sound. Truly bizarre arrangement. If I had the stub I would have gladly sent you a copy for free. Concert fans know how to share! Cheers, Bob Sink

Sorry, but I did not save my ticket stub for the Pink Floyd concert at the Hollywood Sportatorium on April 15, 1972.

No PF Atlanta 1972 Symphony Hall ticket stub, sorry. But I remember clearly I was comfortably numb. Good luck in your search.

Sorry, but that is a ticket that I would no longer have.

Hello.
The concert was in Wichita, Kansas, on my birthday. Sep 13, 72. Sorry I did not keep the ticket stubs.

"I’ve just noticed you were lucky enough to have been to both Pink Floyd concerts at PNE in September 1972 and am wondering if, by any chance, you might still have your ticket stubs for the shows?"

Sorry, no ticket stubs. I don't remember ever keeping them. I only saw one show, I don't know why three of them show up for me. It shows two shows on the 30th and one on the 27th, so I probably couldn't identify which one I was at. I remember the sounds of the cash register in the quadrophonic speaker system, but I thought the show opened with that. Money is in the middle of the show though, according to the setlists so probably my memory is playing tricks on me. Garden Auditorium was a 3000 seater venue so maybe that's why they had three shows.
They were a relatively obscure band at that time though. Dark Side of the Moon hadn't been released yet. We were there to hear Echoes and Careful With That Axe Eugene.

What is unmistakably clear is that the final encore was a 12-bar blues jam where a couple of topless women were dancing onstage.
