Hey again,
I agree that the information is inconsistent across the internet (I am worried that it may simply be the nature of a dynamic, global community in which not everyone knows—or adheres to—the same rules). I also agree that several song titles out there are not capitalized in accordance with common guidelines (e.g.: "everything i wanted" and "GOLDWING" by Billie Eilish) and if it were up to me, I would demand some corrections. That said, it is not up to me, and I think it is important to acknowledge the intention of the artist producing this work.
The purpose for my recent edits is because at the last concert I attended (in Milwaukee on September 13), I met several other fans who all agreed that there seemed to be a strange phenomenon where the song "Wurst Vacation" somehow appeared in several "wiki" style websites as "Würst..." and that it was not consistent with any of Ice Nine Kills' official releases.
One concert goer said that at a VIP Meet & Greet, he asked Spencer Charnas, the band's frontman and songwriter, about this and the response from the band was that the band's intended spelling for all song titles will be reflected on their YouTube page. I unfortunately did not get the name of the above-referenced fan, nor do I have a link to any video recording of the VIP interaction with Ice Nine Kills, however, it seems intuitive to me that a band's official release would be more reliable than an open source website that anyone can edit.
I understand that there are trolls out there who might have nothing better to do with their free time than try to create disorder across the internet. As I'm sure you can see from my dedication to this issue, that is not the case, as I (and apparently a few other fans) are merely trying to make a smoother internet experience for all the fans, and one that aligns with the visions of our favorite bands'. Furthermore, I know that issues similar to this are not isolated to just one band, and that despite the best efforts of everyone, we will probably never be able to smooth out all the bumps. If I can fix a few errors here and there along the way, I will feel that I have done my part.
Thanks again for reading this, and for helping to maintain the integrity of our community.

Thanks for replying
Is the way both songs on https://www.discogs.com/release/12231887-Ice-Nine-Kills-2-Song-Promo/image/SW1hZ2U6MzUwODA5OTI= are written (all small letters) also intentional?
On musicbrianz, these songtitles are written following musicbrainz rules
https://musicbrainz.org/recording/7425973b-d64d-475d-915d-9552d2f76e98
https://musicbrainz.org/recording/7af90b23-7162-4695-b3e5-c9a0573fd4c9
No trace of how they are written on the album release https://musicbrainz.org/release/d6543c34-cf89-457a-a7a7-14e57d79182a/cover-art
I guess sometimes songtitles are written by the same artist in a different way on different releases in an unintentional way.
Hello
these are the rules on musicbrainz
https://wiki.musicbrainz.org/Style/Language/English
(1) Always capitalize the first and last word of a title. This rule should be followed even if the words would normally be lowercase according to the other rules. If a title is broken up by major punctuation (colon according to subtitle style, question mark, exclamation mark, em-dash, or quotes), capitalize each distinct piece of the title as if it were a distinct title. Therefore, for example, always capitalize the first and last words of each section.
(2) Between the first and last word of a title Capitalize all words except:
(a) Articles: a, an, the
(b) Coordinate conjunctions: and, but, or, nor
(c) Short prepositions (three letters or less): as, at, by, for, in, of, on, to, but, cum, mid, off, per, qua, re, up, via -- except when used as adverbs or as an inseparable part of a verb (as in "Plug In Baby" or "Shine On You Crazy Diamond").
(d) When used to form an infinitive: to
(3) In compounds formed by hyphens, capitalize each part exactly as if they were a separate word.
(4) Capitalize contractions and slang consistent with the rules above to the extent that such clearly apply. For example, do not capitalize o' for "of", 'n' or n' for "and".
if the titles are listed in another way you should correct these on that website.
Hi. When doing a batch edit of a song title to follow musicbrainz capitalization guidelines, spelling, wording, etc, there is an easier way that also shuts down the reverting "for statistics"
Change the song title on one setlist > save > click that revised song title to open the song page > copy the URL.
Go to a setlist with the song title incorrectly spelled > click the song title to open the incorrect song title page > REPORT A PROBLEM : DUPLICATE SONG > paste the URL of the corrected song page and explain "per MusicBrainz guidelines" or something similar.
Then the edit is made to all the affected setlists by event_monkey, the admin bot.
Thanks for correcting the titles to match musicbrainz.

Hi Dirk. Thank you for the comment.
Let me start by saying that I understand the common, traditional rules for capitalization of words and I appreciate your intention to help. That said, not all song titles follow those rules. It is quite common—especially in today's music—that an artist intentionally capitalizes all or none of the words in a song title. The corrections I am making are only intended to square this website's spelling and capitalization with the artist's original intention, as can be seen on their albums, social media posts, and music hosting websites such as Spotify and Apple Music.
It appears that some users never took the time to properly look up the intended spelling/capitalization/lettering of certain songs, and other users merely selected the pre-existing incorrect title, not bothering to look into it further. Imagine if you were an artist and chose a specific way to title your work, and even though people had the best intentions, they went around sharing it with the wrong title. I know I would appreciate the effort of someone trying to correct this mistake, and I'm sure you would too.
Again, thank you for your time and concern. I know that together we can all make this website even better for everyone!
