sorry man, but bands don't owe us anything.

some can alter their set each night, but that's because they don't rely on coordinated lighting and extensive production values. i don't like static sets either, but who am i to dictate what bands play live?

that was a great write up on Chappell's SNL set, you missed one other show that's been on for 50 years: Austin City Limits ;)
