Thank you so much for your efforts! I'm not surprised really that you didn't find anything. An infrequent performer well past his peak by that time, playing at a small venue that closed a few years later-- not spectacular news. He put out a sign-up list if we wanted to be notified of future shows; I signed up but never heard anything. And now he's gone, like so many other. <sigh>

Ooo-- I remember the Bacchanal! And that date of August 1989 sounds right for America (although I can't find anything stating there were two shows that night.) Thanks for finding that for me! (And I saw your note on the setlist page.) The JCY show was a different night, but I'm pretty sure it was the same venue. Not positive, though, and not sure on the year. 1989 - 1991 is my best guess.

Hi. It looks like you enjoy researching old concert events, so I was wondering if you might try to find a couple for me. I used to live in San Diego in the '80s and went to several shows at small venues that now I can't remember and that probably aren't there anymore. One was Jesse Colin Young and it would have been between 1989 and 1991, I believe. I saw America at the same venue, I think, and that was 1989. (They played two shows that night, and the first was so good my friend and I stayed for the second.) If you feel like it, I'd appreciate being able to add these to my setlist attendance.

Thanks for correction re:Jarrett. That venue seems to have really poor records. You would think a venue would know its OWN history.

Peter Frampton was part of the Rock Symphony at Colonial stadium 2000. Feb 20th in Melbourne. I tried to change it, but it won't allow it.

Hi George. Trying to update info on this venue and not finding info so far. I don't have access to Newspapers.com. Did the Boca Raton News say the venue is literally named "Downtown Park"? If not, did it offer a name or a street address? Or should the venue possibly be in Boca Raton rather than Fort Lauderdale? Thanks for any help you may offer.

Mötley Crüe @ Peoria Civic Center in 1985 was also my first concert...i was 7 years old.
