Wolverenstein, were you actually there? Have you listened to recent Cat Power concerts? If you actually LISTEN, you'll know it's a Fleetwood Mac cover, from the classic 'Rumors' album. Chan has indeed covered The Everly Brothers' "(All I Have To Do Is) Dream" in the past -see 'Speaking for Trees', for example-, but this is NOT the case. "Thunder always happens when it's raining / Players only love you when they're playing": That is as unmistakable a line as can be.

Um, I meant 'Rumours', of course - the English side of the band won over the Buckingham/Nicks duo there. :)

Well, I really was there, but I'm not familiar with the recent work of Chan (I prefer her firsts albums for Matador), so It's difficult to me to identify the songs she played that night. And I haven't listened neither The Everly Brothers nor the Fleetwood Mac's songs, so I don't have any clue on this.
