Pascal Obispo Performed 21-Song Set at Concert in Paris, France

Last night (February 4) French singer, songwriter and host of The Voice France, Pascal Obispo, graced fans with a jam-packed show in Paris, France at L’Olympia Bruno Coquatrix.

Obispo isn’t currently on tour but has been playing a few shows here and there in 2020 throughout France and Belgium. Aside from last night’s performance in Paris, France, Obispo has performed in Bar-le-Duc, France at La Barroise and Brussels, Belgium at Cirque Royal/ Koninklijk Circus.

Obispo has not released any new albums since 2018, so he performed songs from a variety of his older ones including Obispo, Superflu, Studio fan, Un jour comme aujourd’hui, Millesimes and Welcome to the Magic World of Captain Samourai Flower.

Last night’s set consisted of 21 songs including some of his biggest hits such as “Tombe pour elle,” “Fan” and “Lucie.” Obispo also blessed audience members with a few covers including Stephan Eicher’s “Dejeuner en paix,” Tears for Fears “Shout,” Leo Ferre’s “Avec le temps” and Johnny Hallyday’s “Allumer le feu.”

Some of Pascal Obispo’s most-performed songs have been “Lucie,” “Personne” and “Tombe pour elle” all of which he performed last night. Obispo opened his show with his song “Je rentre” and closed his set with “Avec le temps,” which was the Leo Ferre cover. However, Obispo’s set closer was his song “Mourir demain.”

Although Pascal Obispo isn’t on a full tour, he still has a show coming up on July 8 in Sion, Switzerland at Plaine De Tourbillon. If you are lucky enough to catch the show definitely check it out! You can get your tickets here.
