The punk rock veterans in Against Me! have just announced upcoming tour dates. The North American trek which is set to kick off October 12th in Los Angeles will be unlike any other shows, as the band will perform front-to-back performances of four of their records: Searching for a Former Clarity, New Wave, White Crosses, and Transgender Dysphoria Blues. The 2 Nights / 4 Records / 48 Songs Tour has the group set to performing back-to-back shows in Los Angeles, Toronto, Sayreville, Boston and Baltimore. See the list of dates below.
Support for the special trek varies by the city but includes Chuck Ragan, Dilly Dally, Toy Guitar, Chris Cresswell, and Cursive. In a recent statement, frontwoman Laura Jane Grace commented on the full album shows:
“While working on new music this year — before we move forward into the future — we thought it would be fun to revisit the past, the albums that got us to where we are now. Like chapters in a book, there’s a narrative that flows through these four albums that we’ve never had the chance before to present in this context, as one complete story. I’m excited to share the songs as a whole in this way. This is probably the closest I will ever come to being a part of a ‘Rock Opera’ of any sorts.”
