"That's just ridiculous." Would prefer you would not use that type of language while we are discussing a site that both of us find of great value. I appreciate that you are responding and explaining and all that you moderators do to keep the site humming.

As I said before, I encourage you all at the very least to fix the site so that the set times appear below the actual set page instead of "add set time."

All the best...

In regards to :

'Early Show' and 'Late Show' is outdated since the Set Time update.

Disagree since the actual posted times are not visible on the set page. Also, without posted Early show and late show in the body of the set, many may not be aware that more than one show was performed on the same date, very significant info for users.

If someone accidentally clicks 'I was there' on the wrong show it's not going to affect the website in any way.

Disagree. Setlist.fm works when it is as accurate as possible. Increasing the chance that a user marks attended to the wrong show devalues the entire site.

The set times are clearly visible in a search even if the 'scheduled time' isn't visible on the actual setlist page.

Not only is the scheduled time not visible on the actual page, it actually reads:

"Add time" even when the time is already recorded. Where it reads "Add time" should actually show the posted time. Or maybe read "change time" to reflect that a set time has been posted.

I've asked for the scheduled times to be made visible in the past, but apparently changes to that section needs additional 'corporate' approval (for some reason).

So you have known about this issue for a while. Please do all you can to have 'corporate' make that change ASAP.

Finally, I would encourage to not remove this type of helpful data. Leaving early show / late show information in the body of the set does not, in your words, affect the website in any way.

Thanks for your consideration.

Dear Executive Chimp

There Is A Very Big Annoyance On This Website, There Are Alot Of Hackers Or Bots & they never put a reason why They Were Reverted I have Quite Alot Of Evidence Of This

Hope you can help, Thank You

Hi, I had created an incorrect venue location and wanted to ask you to remove it from the database.

I had mistakenly entered in Gilley’s Club, Pasadena, California

This was actually Pasadena Texas. So if you could please remove that incorrect listing, I’d appreciate it.

Appreciate all that you do. Respectively and vigorously disagree about removing "early show" or "late show" from the body of setlists. While the set times can be found, there is no record of them when one lands on the actual set:

https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/eddie-murphy/1983/valley-forge-music-fair-devon-pa-13bd61d9.html

Without noting this in the body, much potential confusion when users post attendance and songs. Also, as you know, these two phrases part of the standard choices when posting general setlist comments.

Hey mate, would you be able to change the venue of this setlist to 'Unknown Venue, Austin' as the Armadillo WH closed in January 1981.

I think the two 1970 Nottingham Boat Club, UK concerts by the band Gypsy belong to the UK band, since it looks like the US band was mainly playing dates in West Hollywood and their home state of Minnesota around that time. No other overseas dates could be found for the US band from this period. What do you think?

RE: PHISH COVERS

All of the Laura Olsher "covers" are not covers. It's a sample. The music is entirely by phish, and the timing of the sample changes from performance to performance.
Music (Anastasio/Fishman/Gordon/Marshall/McConnell)
Lyrics By Jimmy Johnson
Vocals Laura Olsher (Narration Samples)

the song does not exist outside of phish's song.

Can you make Motorhead's final show time from 9:00 - 10:20, and door time 5:30.

Hi, I want to request three entries to be deleted. There are three BB King dates. One of them was entered incorrectly, and the other two were postponed and rescheduled dates. Here are the articles that show the rescheduled concerts in Florida.

Two Florida shows for B.B. King in October 2004 were postponed and rescheduled for December 30 & 31, 2004. Including. Dr. John, Shemekia Copeland and Muddy Waters Tribute Band.

Hi, I see you edited this setlist:
https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/bob-dylan/1998/estadio-river-plate-buenos-aires-argentina-63d68e3f.html

However, these two sources list "Cocaine" instead of "Little Sadie":
https://boblinks.com/040498S.html
https://www.bobdylan.com/date/1998-04-04-river-plate-stadium/

Perhaps those are official setlists but you were there and are sure he made changes no matter what the song sheet said?

Thank you for the info on the Elks Hall.
It is confusing but it makes sense.

This is coming from a desire of trying to understand and not repeat the behavior if incorrect. I reviewed the Guidelines for info notes and it does not seem to be prescribed. It is factual (the video exists and states it is from the specific performance) and would be relevant to a large percentage if not all attendees (I realize there may be countries where the video is blocked from access by YouTube's own standards or governmental requirement for certain nations. I also understand that not every person who attends a show will desire to experience it again via recording.)

Why would we not note that there is a video available of the entire concert for those interested to view?

The videos I have linked in this way are free/non-paywalled so there is no obligation (other than their time) on users to view them. Thanks in advance for your response.

Hey executive chimp. I’ve got a question. Maybe you can help answer. When I enter in the set time when it’s scheduled to begin and also when it ends. Per se 6 PM to 7:30 PM after I’ve entered it, it only shows the end time. It doesn’t show the scheduled start time. Shouldn’t it show both beginning and end times?

Hi, I can't edit for some reason? Some setlists are locked for me, and for the ones that aren't locked, my edits get reverted within 10 minutes, even when I've provided sources. Can you please unlock my account? I haven't spammed or anything on this account.

Hey, sorry I’m a little confused by what you meant in the comment left on my profile?

Primus did the 1998 New Years shows, then did the May-July Ozzfest run in 1999 then started properly promoting Antipop when they picked up touring again in September
This was my logic for the edits I made, and I still feel that it makes sense for the Ozzfest tour to be its own thing (especially now that both SnoCore 1998 and Family Values 1999 are their own things)
An early version of The Antipop was in the setlist at the time, but I don’t think this is enough to warrant it being grouped into the Antipop tour as a whole, it was just them road testing new material in my eyes

I’m slightly puzzled by “the tour name shouldn’t change for off-dates”, was that a mistake I made? If it was, then that was my bad and you can amend that as you wish, but I think my edits still stand?

Cheers, plus thanks for all you do for this site

I have used a valid source for the setlist below and this user (username CoalMinor) keeps reverting my changes.
Could you lock the setlist so he can’t keep changing it?
Thanks in advance

Hi Executive Chimp,

I noticed that Metallica's 33 performances of Mechanix from 4/23/82 - 5/1/83 were all listed as Megadeth covers. I believe this to be incorrect. Megadeth was not founded until late 1983, did not start performing until 1984 and did not release Mechanix until the release of Killing Is My Business...And Business Is Good on 6/12/85. Before this time Megadeth founder Dave Mustaine was a member of Metallica. And Metallica recorded and released Mechanix on their No Life Til Leather demo on 7/6/82. All the attendees of these 33 concerts in 82-83 would have understood Mechanix to be a Metallica song. In an early 1984 interview after Megadeth's second concert Dave Mustaine mentions Mechanix as being from No Life Til Leather. While Mechanix is certainly a Megadeth song from 1984 onwards it was a Metallica song between 1982 - 1983. As such I believe the cover listing should be removed from Metallica's 33 performances of the song.

Hi, could you please delete this BB King entry. BB was not at this particular concert. Please see the links that I have posted with the ad and review. Thanks.
