Shortly after this whole thing started I decided to reach out to an admin instead of moderators. He obviously completely ignored me, but additionally removed my comment a few days later. I guess my comments are considered spam ever since.

I don’t have any info or control about that kind of situation, but probably best just to wait and keep trying back periodically. Most of these situations are temporary. Don’t get a new account because the mods really hate that.

I’d start with any mod you noticed reverting your edits.

As a roadie, I have no info about that kind of thing, and am not even sure how it works. You need to approach a moderater (blue star) and ask them.
