Hey Supercones, I am aware of the what guidlines say about tour names, but Mods and Admins have started to approve of these tour names

So personally I think the tour should be listed that way.
Thanks for reverting those no-source Triumph edits.
Hello! I hope all has been well for you, too. Sets being present often indicate that the band/artist let a period of time pass in-between without leaving the stage, which isn't the case here. Acts, on the other hand, indicate a change in the stage setup or overall mood of the band/artist's performance. Between those two, Act seems to be the more appropriate for what NIN are doing, but as you said yourself, neither necessarily has to be used. In my opinion, the 2026 setlists should follow the formatting of the 2025 setlists for the sake of consistency.
I looked into the Megadeth 2026 Tour names.
You're correct that they haven't yet given a name to the whole "Farewell Tour" but they seemed to have named, for now, the South America and Canada Tours

Thanks--I think that's a good compromise--makes everything clear without having two different versions of the medley in the stats.
By the way, if you happen to remember whether they sang all the lyrics of 'America the Beautiful' (there aren't that many of them), feel free to add that as a separate song before Volunteers. That's what most Attendees are doing, although if you really think that they didn't sing the whole song, then it's better to leave it the way it is.
How the band (and Wikipedia) defines a Starship song and how we define a Starship song are different. We attribute the song to the person who wrote it, as long as that person also recorded it, which Albert Hammond did.
And the Guidelines are super-clear that only medleys that contain artists by the same song may be attributed to that artist.
If you don’t agree with the guidelines, please make a post about it. Because now we two entries for Sara / Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now-your version attributed to Starship and another version (played 64 times) not attributed to a particular artist.
It’s totally fine to put Starship Medley in the info tab, by the way. It just shouldn’t be marked as a cover, or it messes with the stats.
It’s all clearly explained here:
Hey.
For the MPop event, depending on how many music performances happen during the gala, there are two options:
One Various Artists setlist. Each song is a cover, tag the main artist on each song, and anyone else is added to the song info notes. Add the event name as the tour so it shows up in search results.
If the house band backing the artists is an established artist, the setlist can be put under them instead of Various Artists.
If it feels more like individual, distinct performances, add each artist's setlist on its own. Create a Festival - Event titled MOPOP 25:Icons of Pop Culture Gala
After the event, add a scheduled start time to keep the performances in order. It doesn't have to be exact in this scenario, guesstimate based on what time it started, how many songs performed etc. When you add the time, the source is "estimate based on attendance". If you know what time they actually started, put that in the scheduled and actual start time. Only the scheduled shows up on the Festival-event page to easily view the performances in order.
You want to capture who performed, what they played, in order/ run of show. So use whichever of the two formats is easiest for you to accomplish that.
The user "el_reyo" reverts EVERY SINGLE EDIT I make, with valid sources, and without any reason, for years now, seemingly on purpose, so why use this site at all, if there is nothing being done about it, should I just delete my account then???
Thank you very much for your kind words! Have a good time, i'll watch your video of your last NIN concert!
Greetings, Gue79
Hey Supercones,
thank you for the youtube-link! I know this video and have posted there also a comment before. There is no "The Wretched" in this video. It is really annoying for me, that i can't find proof for my memories. I just drank some beer that evening, but nothing, that makes me doubt my senses... I know, that the official setlist differs, but in one article about the tour is mentioned, that Trent this time likes to change the setlists in favor of some fan-favorites...
Greetings, Gue79
Hey sorry for the delayed response but I've been super busy lately with a new job and lots of shows but glad you got some of Primus etc filmed at White River. We heard about the strict no filming policy for that particular show so we decided to sell our tickets and do something else that night. Might have been a good choice seeing as one of our friends got thrown out for filming that night. Looking forward to my 3rd Brit Floyd show in 3 years! Maybe I'll see ya there...
Hey! I am, actually! I'm going to both of the band's shows at the Forum in September! Last two shows of the tour! I've been blown away by the band's setlists so far and I'm SO EXCITED to see what the band has in store for us! I can't wait to see what the band plays for your three shows, as well! I hope you have an awesome time!
Thanks. I’m pretty sure it’s over 400. Just can’t remember them all. lol
Try this one.
As I said earlier, we can also add “Eagles – Live in Concert at Sphere” to the list since that’s how Sphere’s website is advertising the shows (https://www.thesphere.com/shows/eagles).
Just wanted to clarify that we seem to agree on the core issue: there is no official residency title being universally used by the venue, the artist, and the ticket vendor, as there usually has been for other Sphere shows. That said, I still think SOMETHING should be put in that place so users can collect residency stats. @kfinch threw out some ideas for the residency name in the forum post I sent you earlier. Do any of those sound good to you?

Having heard the song Whirlpool I think you're right. It was so long ago I may have copied and checked a previous setlist or even called it Angel because I didn't know the true name of the song.
There is a forum topic about the Metallica guitar solos, join in.
Okay. Thanks for the advice. I'll look back through my edits and add references and for now on, I'll find video clip examples or setlist images to back up my edits. I will do my best to make these accurate again.

Okay that makes sense, thank you for clarifying
