RE: ABC @ Bimbos
not a “reprise.” they (inexplicably) played the entire song a second time. i guess the hired hands don’t know any other ABC songs beyond the main set?
“Reprise” means a song is played a second time whether short or long. It is standard that they play Poison Arrow twice, presumably b/c their fans like that
Ha, Ha. I also was googling- just got a different answer:-) I am getting my hearing checked on Thursday so that may be my issue- time for the aids- too many loud rock shows:-)
I did see the official set list but, man, I could swear that I did not hear those words. Oh well, I also thought that I heard low spark at the BCT (it was Dear Mr. Fantasy)- too old for my own good:-)
They did not play Lonesome and a Long Way from Home. It was Vinnie's tune, Way to Go Home. See https://www.dead.net/song/way-go-home . I thought it was the former at first and just thought they were fucking up the words as I only heard Vinnie's song a couple of times before Jerry died.
Hello! i read that you attended some Blondie gigs in the past. Did you tape them or know of anyone who did? Special interest on the gig in Atlanta Aug. 1978. Cheers

Hi there. I see you attended the show but I'm wondering if you have a source for the date as March 16, 2000? The reason I ask is the venue's own site shows them playing March 17, 2000 with Sally Timms as guest for their annual Bloodshot Records party:
https://www.yarddog.com/blogs/yard-dog-art-gallery-1/a-somewhat-complete-list-of-all-the-bands-that-have-played-our-march-parties
If they actually DID play two days in a row at Yard Dog, would you please:
1) Add a source URL to your setlist so we can avoid future confusion
2) Confirm if the show was played in the gallery's parking lot as I'm in the process of eliminating what I think is a duplicate "Yard Dog" venue. (Moving to "Yard Dog Art"). If that gig WAS played somewhere other than Yard Dog Art Gallery's parking lot, please provide as much info about the venue that you can so I can update info on it to indicate how "Yard Dog" and "Yard Dog Art" are different.
Thanks in advance.
