Hi, it's because Shout at the Devil '97 is what is performed live.

Shout '97 has a music video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VeBjWj8wni0), an appearance on a Greatest Hits compilation (https://musicbrainz.org/release-group/6260b1b5-7a2b-386a-b89f-f8f5397313f7), and has been the only version the band has played live since the Generation Swine tour, minus the extremely rare appearance of the original version on The Final Tour in 2014 and 2015.

There are several notable differences that make it clear this is "97" and not "83";

1) The intro does not have the gang chant intro of 'Shout, Shout, Shout' etc over the sustained guitar note that is present in the original recording. The '97 version starts with a bass line from Nikki building into Vince singing (yelling? whatever) "We Shout at the Devil".

2) A rhythmic breakdown that is from the 1997 version, that replaced the guitar solo in the original 1983 version.

3) In the original studio version from 1983, the song ends with a gang vocal chant repeating "Shout, Shout, Shout, Shout...". In the 1997 version, the song ends with Vince's delayed "Devil devil devil devil devil".

4) The lead guitars are completely reworked in the 1997 version to a more industrial style song than the classic 83 sound. They're a lot choppier and the verses are stacked power chords broken up by explicit dead notes that are not present in the 83 version.

I understand Generation Swine is a rather forgotten album, and the casual fans probably don't even know that Shout '97 exists, but setlist.fm should be an accurate reporting of the songs played, and the accurate title here (and on every other setlist barring the Final Tour) is in fact Shout at the Devil '97.

The album set title stays since they performed the album in full during the show, regardless of order of play.

In the future, instead of "Band's Instagram" please use the actual URL as the source at least for the first time you edit the setlist. This just makes it easier to get the band added. Could you please supply the link for that?

Hi Matthew. I've just uploaded all the videos from The Chats set at Reading to YouTube. I'm pretty sure I captured them all judging by the timestamps on them. They started at 10:44 and finished at 11:26. I'm certain they didn't play all 20 songs. This is what I have by way of the setlist order. You can check the videos @bigsharpie67 on YouTube. We can discuss the band name on the setlists later, but removing the album title isn't ok, particularly after it was explained why it's correct and you continued removing on other setlists.
