About

Going to concerts is my version of going to "church". I love the experience of seeing and hearing my favorite artists perform live. I love that you can go to a specific place with hundreds of other people you don't know, yet you all share something in common - a love or interest in the same music or artist. Dancing, singing, clapping, cheering and sometimes even crying. Making friends, making memories. As one of my favorite divas sings "Music makes the people come together!" Absolutely transcendental!

Re: Cyndi Lauper @ White River Amphitheater,
We were to busy bopping to GJWHF and then were making our break for the parking lot from the last chorus. I've added it just now. (The venue is notorious for being difficult to access and exit from.)

For the 7/26 Expose show, they opened with a brief video montage right before they came out for Exposed to Love. She Drives Me Crazy was instrumental.

It's always worth correcting / fixing information so its accurate on this site. I think the options are:
Leave all the setlists under the current Mary Jane Girls. In the INFO note on each seltist, add
"The Original Mary Jane Girls - Maxi & Cheri" or ""Mary Jane Girls feat. Val Young", or whatever is accurate.
or
Add the new touring artist name to musicbrainz:
"The Original Mary Jane Girls - Maxi & Cheri"
Adding artists over there is pretty easy, just have source links (social media pages, website, ticketing, venue page, blogs, etc.).
Attach the assorted members to the new group if in musicbrainz already.

Clarifying which version of MJGs is performing is important. Artists:
Mary Jane Girls and the setlist info note "Mary Jane Girls feat. Val Young"
and
The Original Mary Jane Girls - Maxi & Cheri

Hey. When I saw the corporate name in front of RiverPlace I suspected it'ss changed names over the years. Same venue, new corporate sponsor name.
Did a search on the site for RiverPlace and got 4 options.
Looks like 2002-2008 it was named Straub Dodge Chrysler Jeep RiverPlace Stage

I'm adding more detail to each venue's page so its easy to see the other names and years.

Thanks for posting the Donna Summer setlist in Sterling Heights Mi

Hi. There is a way to do a batch edit. I’ll make the Madonna edit today.

There appear to be several site issues that have come up in the last week. I found that after submitting the tour name, you can type in the tour for the event and that works. It should work automatically as more Rodrick sets are added.

Hi there,

I see you attended Cher’s Seattle concert in August 1999. Did you or anyone you know make recordings of that concert?? If so, could you please email me at LTM1997@gmail.com?? I’d love to get a copy if you’d permit it. :)

No worries :) Let's leave it like that, until someone else weighs in.

Thanks, I've made that change now.

If you fancy, it may be worth making individual changes to the early performances of the song, noting that the original "Appalachian Memories" was performed, not the rearrangement "Smoky Mountain Memories".

Thanks for letting me know.

From your explanation, it sounds like we should name the song "Appalachian Memories" (the title of the song on its first official release), as "Smoky Mountain Memories" seems to be a later 'nickname' (perhaps not so dissimilar from "Rocketman (I Think It's Going to Be a Long Long Time)" / "Rocketman".

What do you think?

Curious whether Madonna's band played an instrumental opening set that night. Thanks!
