Re your recent reversion of my correction to your edit of the Midnight Oil song Kosciuszko, and rather than getting into an edit/revert battle! ;)

You're right that the original spelling of Kosciusko still appears on reissues of the album, and on Spotify.
However, the new spelling, Kosciuszko (named after Mount Kosciuszko, itself named after the Polish freedom fighter Tadeusz Kościuszko), was officially adopted by the New South Wales Geographical Names Board in 1997, and when the song has featured on subsequent albums (e.g. the 20,000 W RSL and Live At The Domain compilation albums), it has always been with the new spelling of Kosciuszko.

Although you're right that the old spelling appears on Spotify, so does the new one:

I can also confirm that the version we performed at this gig was the live version as performed by Midnight Oil at all of their live shows since they got back together in 2017, and as featured (with the Kosciuszko spelling) on their Live At The Domain album, recorded in November 2017.

I understand that having 2 different spellings of the same song on setlist.fm can cause an issue, but I would advocate for the Kosciuszko spelling to be adopted across the site. It's in line with historical accuracy, and reflects the official government spelling and the band's own alignment with that.

Actually ignore my last comment. Something else is going on. I'll post it to the Forum.

Hi there. I tried to do the fix for this artist but it still hasn't imported. I went to MusicBrainz and it looks like the MBID was deleted. (I can't find an artist ending in same MBID you posted in comments).

If there isn't at least one relationship on an artist, MusicBrainz has a bot that deletes it within 24 hours. Usually I use one of the artist's social media pages or a link to them on one of the streaming services.

Thanks so much for fixing the formatting of the Bruce Cockburn, Chataqua setlist I created. I couldn't figure out how to do that!! Thanks again!

Thanks for the Jack De Keyzer fix. Damn capitalization rules drive me insane sometimes.

Yo man, you wouldn’t happen to have the set list from set 1 from Sam Grisman at the guild would you? If so, would you be willing to sell it to me? It has immense sentimental value to me.

Hello,

You've recently changed song titles in a seist I edited:
https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/caro-emerald/2015/poppodium-013-tilburg-netherlands-3b9a08f0.html

I attended the concert and purchased an official live recording in mpe format. The song titles are from the mp3s and therefore I suppose the correct song titles.

Before I undo your changes I would like to understand if there is any valuable reason for you to change the song titles.

Regards.
Before I undo your changes

Greetings,
Recently you have reported many duplicate songs and misattributed covers. (We really appreciate that BTW!) It would be helpful if you could please include a source link for every report. Even if it's a trivial correction, like the capitalization of a single word, a source link is still needed to validate which of the two duplicates is correct. The requirement for source links is covered in the Guidelines:
https://www.setlist.fm/guidelines#sources
For most song changes, MusicBrainz.org is the preferred source. If it's a capitalization change only, even a link to the MusicBrainz Style guidelines would be fine.
https://musicbrainz.org/doc/Style/Language/English
(Although the artist's release on MusicBrainz is still preferred, in case the artist intends to use non-standard capitalization.)
For misattributed covers, SecondHandSongs.com is a great resource.
Of course, Wikipedia and other online sources can be used too.
Thank you, cheers!

Exception 1
If a songwriter writes a song for another artist or group which they were not a part of, and never records their own version of the song, then the song should be credited to the artist who released it first. If the songwriter does finally release their own version of the song, regardless of how many years have gone by, then the song should be credited back to the songwriter.
So much easier to verify with links
