Hi michi, danke für die schnelle Antwort. Was die Guidelines betrifft, gibt es bei "Naming Convention" ja bereits den Einschub "(except if the official tour name has it included)". Darauf basierend wäre bei "General" sowas wie "Please always use the most complete tour name as used by the artist. Please do not invent tour names for the sake of adding shows to a tour, and do not add or remove parts of a tour name." nicht schlecht. Und dann für die Legs ein neuer Abschnitt "Tour Legs" mit bspw.:

"When using a broader tour name, artists often add so-called 'legs' to the name, in which the locations, years or other specifics of a particular tour are denoted. This is most often the case when the tour name is simply the name of an album. If the leg is included in the promotion for the tour, for example on a flyer, ticket, tour shirt or social media post, it must be included in the name on setlist.fm as well. Although this may result in a larger number of tours with unique names and sometimes low numbers of shows, it helps users in accurately identifying the tour which the show they attended belonged to. It also satisfies any intent the artist might have had when naming the tour."

Habe ich mir jetzt mal so auf die schnelle aus den Fingern gezogen, aber würde glaube ich alles abdecken.

Michi, wir brauchen bitte wirklich dringend die Option, Tour Legs als separaten Data Point eintragen zu können oder zumindest klare Regeln dafür, dass Tour Legs in Tour-Titeln erlaubt und gewollt sind.

Sowas hier: https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/opeth/2026/dalhalla-rattvik-sweden-3b4e1c40.html#sfmsesg430ff337 ist vollkommen unsinnig. Die Tour hat bis auf den Albumnamen nichts mit dieser Tour zu tun: https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/opeth/2025/jaahalli-helsinki-finland-1b558138.html - trotzdem laufen sie jetzt beide unter demselben Namen.

setlist.fm sollte doch eine Seite sein, um solche Informationen zu sammeln und so penibel und akkurat darzustellen wie möglich. Welchen Sinn hat es da, die Daten auf den kleinsten gemeinsamen Nenner zu reduzieren? Wir tragen ein Lied ja auch nicht als "Name" ein, wenn es von ihm "Name Part 1" und "Name Part 2", oder "Name" und "Name Reprise" gibt, wieso sollten wir es dann bei Tours tun. Und wenn man die Logik weiter denkt, wäre es dann nicht auch erlaubt "European Tour 2014" und "European Tour 2023" zu "European Tour" zusammenführen? Das würde halt jeder als unsinnig bezeichnen, logischerweise.

Ich weiß, du bist nicht derjenige der diese Edits gemacht hat oder dergleichen, aber diese Tour Leg Ding ist mir schon lange ein Dorn im Auge. Insbesondere, da auch Mods der Meinung sind, es sei eine gute Idee, Touren mit ähnlichem Namen zusammenzuführen. Und das widerspricht meiner Meinung nach komplett dem Sinn der Seite. Insbesondere, da diese Tour-Namen bzw. die Legs ja auch nicht von uns ausgedacht sind, die stehen ja so auf den Tourplakaten drauf.

Hey Michael, so I connected my Facebook just to see if anybody I personally knew was on there, and it updated my profile picture to my Facebook profile picture. However, I had disconnected my Facebook from Setlist and would like to revert my profile picture to the default blank photo. I tried changing it on Gravatar to no avail. Even if it does change, it will likely take a while, so I just want a reset. Hopefully, you can do that. Comment on my wall if there is any issue, or when you are done.

Hey, so basically what happened was I'd just played a set and was adding it to here as I usually do, but the site kept crashing and saying it had been unsuccessful. So I must've hit the submit button a few times (definitely not upwards of 3000 though!) and then just assumed it hadn't worked. So I checked later that night and saw the absurd amount of shows listed and, as you say, thought it was very strange. There were a few pages on my artist profile that just listed the same show over and over again - it can't have been 3000+ as I don't remember it taking me that long to go through and delete all except the one that actually had the songs listed. But, although I was able to delete the shows themselves, the extremely high number of shows I've apparently played this year stayed the same. I haven't been able to think of any way to sort that out unfortunately.

Hi, korrigier mich wenn ich falsch liege, aber es ist nicht falsch, die "Legs" einer Tour als Teil des Tournamens hinzuzufügen, oder? Also, natürlich nur wenn sie auch offiziell im Tournamen vorkommen. Ich frage, weil kfinch nach wie vor so tut, als wäre es falsch, die "Legs" mit in den Tournamen aufzunehmen: https://www.setlist.fm/forum/setlistfm/website-support/problem-with-tour-name-7bd6cae4?page=10#bd5a976 obwohl es per Punkt 3 in den Naming Conventions der Touren ja erlaubt ist.

I made 2 mistakes in using the new Language Adaptation feature :

First I went wrong in calling it a French adaptation as it is in Italian, but it applied not only to the Lara Fabian's interpretations and covers, but to all the Adagio covers.
Could you revert this mass edit ?
